Do not make the mistake of Assumption vs. Assurance.
Assumption is a risk, without proof
Assurance is a guarantee, a promise
Hebrews 10:22 “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Colossians 2:2 “That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ,”
Be cautious about making assumptions when it comes to your salvation.
Your eternity, my eternity should not rest on an assumption.
Instead put your complete trust in the Lord Jesus.
Celebrate this Palm Sunday Jesus Christ who came to save you and me.
Celebrate this Palm Sunday by giving yourself fully to Jesus today.
